The No. 1 Farm Harness has been tested on our Suffolks since 1982 and holds up well, cleans easily, is super light (26 lbs. each, with hames), and does not chafe. Its light weight, combined with substantial strength, makes this harness the perfect choice for medium-use work, training, and colt breaking.

The No. 1 Farm Harness is made with polypropylene and nylon web,
double stitched with 2 to 5 layers per strap (depending on the strap's
location and its expected degree of stress). Wear pieces are Biothane. All
hardware and eyelets are solid brass or nickeled-and-chromed brass. This
harness comes with No. 500 farm hames, bridle, and your choice of
hardware, bits (straight or snaffle), and Biothane or nylon/leather lines.
